Adoption of
Accessibility Guidelines Department of Justice signs final regulations amending
accessibility compliance in Commercial & Public facilities.
This amendment and related new guidelines become optional
March 15, 2011 and become a requirement for public and
commercial projects begun after March 15, 2012. Projects in
Texas are obligated to meet both the Texas Accessibility
Standards and the new Federal standards. For more
