Adoption of Accessibility Guidelines
Department of Justice signs final regulations amending accessibility compliance in Commercial & Public facilities. This amendment and related new guidelines become optional March 15, 2011 and become a requirement for public and commercial projects begun after March 15, 2012. Projects in Texas are obligated to meet both the Texas Accessibility Standards and the new Federal standards. For more information, click here
